California Outdoor Engagement Coalition

The California Outdoor Engagement Coalition is a network of multisector partners who are expanding equitable access to the outdoors. Founded by Jenny Mulholland-Beahrs (and many partners) at UC Berkeley’s College of Natural Resources in 2015, the Coalition is now an initiative of Inclusion Outdoors.

Vision

All Californians Outdoors!

Mission

To expand equitable access to the outdoors for all people in California through cross-sector partnerships and collective impact

Any individual or organization who is committed to expanding equitable access to the outdoors in California is welcome to join the California Outdoor Engagement Coalition listerv for free. This means that you share and support our vision & mission and believe in our working commitment to Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (and are willing to share your input to refine and update this commitment).

We use our members-only listserv to share resources, events, job postings, funding, advocacy opportunities, and connect with other people who are expanding equitable access to the outdoors in California.
